
Project 3: Twerps V. Towers
Welcome to my capstone project for Full Sail University.
This project was completed between October 2023 and February 2024. Our team was 6-strong and we completed what we set out to do. This game is a third-to-first perspective tower defense game that pits the classic hero versus villain archetype on its head and pits the evil wizard against the heroic twerps, but the wizard doesn’t come without aid, he is capable of constructing defensive towers to keep his precious portal safe!
I was responsible for two initial level designs, two initial mechanic designs, and general help with UI and blueprinting tasks. Throughout the capstone, our team decided to cut progress that we felt did not mesh well with our design pillars. So, in the final version of our game, I was responsible for the Frozen Lake level design, the Frozen Lake tower mechanic, the enemy and tower bestiaries, and the reworking of the UI like the pause and main menu.
